80's Arcade Games – A Special Piece of Magic!
Video games have now been popular for well over forty years. From the first moment when a simple game called Pong mesmerised a generation with the simple concept of batting a ball from one side of the screen to another a whole industry was born.

Many arcade machine historians believe the first real arcade game that set the world on fire was Space Invaders way back in 1978. This was the first game that would allow the player who had the highest scores to record their initials so everyone could see who the master of the machine was! This combined with simple, yet addictive gameplay was a recipe for success.

80's arcade machines showed much more polish than their 70’s predecessors. Many of the games involved more than just one button. They had a real story behind them with protagonists and antagonists, set in their own little world. It didn't take long for children as well as adults to become hooked on these electronic extravaganzas. Their influence was so great that arcade machines are now ingrained in popular culture.

The roll call of 80’s arcade machines is vast. There’s Pac-Man, Donkey Kong, Galaxian, Galaga, Gyrus, 1942, Arkanoid, Dig Dug, the list goes on and on! Each one of these games features the winning combination of an easy learning curve with increasing difficulty to guarantee the need to play again and again to beat that high score.

Even with the explosion in home game consoles with the Play Station 3 and Xbox 360 bringing near photorealistic in-play graphics they just can’t create the gaming sensation that playing an 80’s classic on a real arcade machine brings.

Here at FindArcadeMachines we give you the chance to capture that true arcade feeling with original machines, as well as multigame cabinets like the Cosmic and Galaxy.

PLUS

We're now able to bring you the very best of both worlds! The key to an original arcade machine is the game. Old cabinets are abused! The vast majority of games you remember didn't have their own dedicated cabinet, they we're housed in a generic cabinet that then had the games livery attached as swapping boards became an easy way to upgrade machines in the arcades.

How would you like to have the ORIGINAL game board, that is exactly what you used to play - but instead of being housed in a tired old worn out body it is transplanted into a new arcade machine. This way you get the original game experience with the reliability of a new machine. We're even able to place the graphics of your choice on the machine with a wide range of reproduction graphics available you can create your own piece of nostalgia with a modern edge.
