Ghost Squad Evolution Deluxe was released in 2007 by Sega-AM2 and is Sega's number one grossing light gun game. Play through this once and you'll see why it's such a popular shooter. The game's immersive action packed gameplay is intense, exciting and highly realistic. Fast reflexes and a keyed awareness to every cue of the environment are essential to prevail.
The gameplay consists of the three levels with multiple branches and 16 levels of difficulty that provides an open-endedness to pull players back again and again. Levels consist of clearing out a terrorist hide-out, saving the President from terrorist that have hijacked Air Force One and annihilating an enemy fortress deep in a jungle where you'll feel the sweat rolling down your face. But wait, no that's not because of the heat and humidity, you're dripping with sweat just from the gameplay!
Players use a highly realistic multi-function machine gun, based on the Heckler & Koch UMP, which features a firing selector switch, force-feedback recoil and iron sights. There is also aswitch in the foregrip that enables certain actions during gameplay such as throwing grenades or defusing bombs. There are a total of 25 different weapons that players can acquire based on proficiency of play and total score.
The game features a 50 inch projection monitor that visually submerges players in the battle environment.
