An excellent trick-style skateboarding game from Sega. The player stands on and maneuvers a skateboard-style controller that allows the player character to perform tail grabs, spins and other moves.
Pick from five (plus two hidden) different skateboarders and take on one of two sets of half-pipes or the training mode. Unlike Top Skater, Air Trix has no racing elements, focusing instead on high-flying tricks performed in half-pipes.
Your skater glides back and forth across any of a number of half-pipes. When approaching the edge, the skateboard controller can be used to trigger a large variety of tricks, including grinds, spins, kicks and flips. Each successful trick results in reaching a slightly higher altitude on the next jump, allowing more air time for even more extravagent tricks.

By linking tricks together, even higher scores can be reached. The training mode
shows the player how to execute a basic trick, gives them a limited time to
attempt the trick, and then moves on, covering most of the game's basic tricks.
